Start off your daily prayer and devotions with a moment of giving verbal praise and thanksgiving to God.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be your name.
Your Kingdom come,
Your will be done
On Earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever,

Personal & Intercessory Prayer

Don't worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart. -Philippians 4:6 (GNT)

Take this time to make your prayer requests, pray for others, intercede for those who don't know Christ, pray for your church family and your spiritual leaders. You might also take this time to pray in the Spirit, expressing prayer and worship to God in your own words and in the language of the Spirit.

Meditate & Listen

Take a few moments to just sit in the presence of the Spirit, quietly listening for the Spirit's voice to speak to you and minister to you.

Pray the Beatitudes

Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the poor in heart,
for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

End With Praise

Before you go about the rest of your day, take one more opportunity to offer praise and thanks to God. Give thanks for the prayers he's already answered, and the prayers He is going to answer.

Take the presence of God that you've experienced during your prayer time with you throughout your day.
