Believers Fellowship Launches Community Center in Danville to Bring Hope and Healing to Yell County
Danville, AR — A beloved house of worship in Danville is entering a new season of service. In June 2025, the Executive Presbytery of the Arkansas Assemblies of God voted to transfer the property and assets of the former Danville First Assembly of God to Believers Fellowship (A/G) of Belleville, AR. The property will now be repurposed as the BF Community Center (BFCC) — a ministry hub for outreach, healing, and community building in the Tri-Peaks region of Arkansas.
A public ribbon-cutting event is anticipated for October 2025, marking the official launch of this new venture.
“Danville Assembly has a long and rich history of powerful ministry in Yell County,” said Pastor Seth Drewry, who serves alongside his wife Katie as Lead Pastors of Believers Fellowship, also an Assemblies of God church. “We don't celebrate the closure of a local church. Instead, we celebrate that this property will continue to be used to do gospel ministry and expand God's kingdom.”
The vision of BFCC is rooted in Believers Fellowship’s mission: Encounter God. Empower People. Expand the Kingdom. The Community Center will serve as a beacon of practical hope by:
“We’re hoping to fill a gap in our community where there’s limited access to healthcare, mental health resources, and addiction recovery services,” Drewry explained. “But we also want this to be a place of friendship, fellowship, and belonging — a space where people can gather, connect, grow, and pursue a life in Christ.”
Minor renovations and upgrades are beginning soon. The church received a $50,000 grant to support initial renovations and startup costs.
Community members are encouraged to get involved:
“God is doing great things in and through the ministry of Believers Fellowship,” Pastor Drewry added. “We hope you’ll join us on the journey as we seek to encounter God, empower people, and expand the Kingdom.”
